Philology at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, finishing her BA studies at
the Université de Limoges, France, on an ERASMUS/SOCRATES scholarship. She
stayed in France two more years working as a Spanish Conversation Teacher in
two public high schools in Vichy and Brioude (where the Marquis de Lafayette

where he was born). After returning to Spain, and while being a French teacher, she
obtained a Masters in French. She also completed the first year’s Academic
Doctorate’s Course in the Doctorate Program “Language, Linguistics, and French
and Francophone Literature Studies” with the investigation essay “Spelling
mistakes of Hispanophones. Elaboration of a corpus to study spelling mistakes,
grammar and French phonetics” at the Universidad Autónoma de
Madrid.
After many years teaching in Spain, she applied to the Visiting Teacher Program between Spain and the United States. She was hired by Connersville High School as a Spanish teacher, which she was from 2008 to 2011. In 2011 she started teaching French at the same high school, and she also started teaching French as a Dual Credit. While she was teaching her first year of French, she also obtained a B.A. in English from Indiana University East, where she is also working on a Graduate Certificate for a future Masters in English. Judith is very passionate about teaching, and always tries to learn about new techniques that will help her students excel. She is the sponsor of the French Club, and has started the CHS French Honor Society, and the Pétanque Club. She is member of the American Association of Teachers of French, and participates in many workshops where she likes to learn about the most up-to-date technology available. She loves to travel. She has been to many countries in Europe, North, and Central America, and has also visited many places in the U.S. Her interests also include reading, going to the movies, going to the theater, cooking, and crocheting. |
